The lecture will take place on 17 December 2025 at 14:00, and will be delivered by Professor Aleksandra Gilis-Januszewska, MD, PhD, from the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków.
The topic of the lecture will be How to achieve correct cortisol levels in patients with Cushing’s syndrome?

Professor Aleksandra Gilis-Januszewska, MD, PhD, is Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Endocrinology at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków, Poland. She also serves as Head of the Unit of Statistics and Epidemiology of Endocrine Disorders and Leader of the Pituitary Center at the University Hospital’s Department of Endocrinology. Her main scientific and clinical focus includes the pathophysiology and treatment of pituitary and adrenal disorders, with particular expertise in Cushing’s syndrome, including ectopic Cushing’s, as well as acromegaly, prolactinoma, adult growth hormone deficiency (AGHD), and hypophysitis.
She has been the principal investigator (PI) and top recruiting center in many clinical trials on Cushing’s, acromegaly, and growth hormone deficiency. She is the President of the Polish Society of Neuroendocrinology, a board member of the Polish Endocrinology Society, and a member of the Pituitary Society, ENEA, the Endocrine Society, and the European Society of Endocrinology.
She is passionate about teaching students, residents, and fellows, and has organized numerous national and international conferences and courses on pituitary diagnostics and treatment.
